Bio ball filter media

Bio ball is hollow sphere made of plastic material,which has a large surface area and then can attach a large amount of nitrifying bacteria. Hollow structure of Bio ball will divide the water into a thin stream,since there is no resistance when the water flows through. So that it can cursh the large pieces of dirt and then make the excellent filtering effect.

The biosphere is light in weight and easy to carry, it can be used not only in biochemical filtration systems in seawater, but also in biochemical filtration systems in freshwater.

Internal zigzag space can prolong the flow of water and to add the nitrifying bacteria attached to the multi-column structure to achieve the effect of biochemical filtration. Each Bio ball is 26mm in diameter which allowing easy cleaning, promote gas exchange and increase dissolved oxygen levels.
